A Hiking Spot MITAKI

Hello, this is Mio.

Last week,one guest ask us about a good place to hike.

He was interested in trekking and hiking ,of course he had already climbed to the Mt. Misen,

so we recommended Mitaki area to him.

Mitaki is one of the walking spot in Hiroshima,and it takes 5 min by train from Hiroshima station.

There is hiking course from Mitaki station or Yokogawa station(just next to Mitaki) to Mt.Mitaki 356 meters high.

Mitaki means three water falls.

Certainly along the hiking course there are three water falls.

Moreover there are some old temples, especialy Mitaki temple has quiet and beautiful garden.

You can enjoy hiking there in a calmly atmosphere with the sounds of water falls.

Fireworks Display in Hiroshima in 2013

Hello, this is Mio.

During the summer in Japan, fireworks festivals are held nearly every week and of course in Hiroshima.

The purpose of those festival is not only watching the fireworks,

but enjoying the atmosphere of the festivals.

People dressed in yukata and streets lined by food and game stalls.

On the days of these festivals, it is difficult to book hotels,

moreover,buses and trains are crowed especially after the end of the show,

The following is the schedule of fireworks festivals held in Hiroshima and Iwakuni.

July 27, Ujina port, Hiroshima

August 3, Kure port

August 4, Kintaikyo Bridge, Iwakuni

August 11, Miyajima irland

August 24, Innoshima Bridge, Onomichi

Hello , This is Hajime .

I went to Yamaguchi Pref for 2nights .

I was very tired after I finished this trip with rent a car .

My trip style is `Go sightseeing as many as possible !!`

So I traveled as hard as I can .

I have to apologize to Ma(Our staff) because I dragged him around Yamaguchi hahaha

I wanna show you about Yamaguchi coooool spot .

I recomand you to take a rent car !!!!

From where will you travel from Backpackers Miyajima !?!?

Hello !! This is Hajime .

I'm planning to travel to Kure and Onomichi city in Hiroshima Pref on 16 and 17 Dec .
My teacher , Kuma-chan recomanded me to take Ferry 'Kiyomori Blue Line' from Miyajima to Ondo pier .(This ferry opens untill 14 Jan 2013 every Sat , Sun and Japanese Holiday)

And when I arrive at Ondo pier , I'm going to take a small Ferry . Just across under the Bridge 'Ondo no Seto' but fun and cheap !!

See the Himaneki statue and go to Yamato museum at Kure city .
I might stay 1 night round Kure if there 're hostels .

After that I'm going to visit Onomichi city and walk around there .

huuumm sounds great !!

I really apreciate Kuma-chan to tell about Hiroshima a lot !!

Iwakuni Yamaguchi

I visited at Iwakuni with 3 people (guest and our staff) by rent a car .
Saw the Kintaikyo and Yamaguchi Castle .
Ate Big chiken and Rice Ball at Resturant `Sanzoku` .

We had a very good time there !

Date:   Dec.9.2012 13:00~18:00
action: Hostel→Kintaikyo→Sanzoku→Hostel
Cost:   Rent a car + gas → 1,000 yen per person (Total : 4,000)
           Dinner　　           →1,000 yen
                               Total:2,000 yen per person

Our hostel is very close to Iwakuni,Yamaguchi even though here is Hiroshima !
so that's cheap !!! Why don't you come with friends and share !!
When you want to know Hiroshima and Yamaguchi , Please ask staff !!

Paddle Park

Hey guys

How are you doing?

It's getting warmer in Hiroshima.

Then we want to introduce to you "Paddle Park" tour.

You can take kayak to Miyajima island and go throw Big torii gate!!

It's a very fun activity.

Oyster Festival in Miyajima island

We just want to tell you about oyster Fes in Miyajim island on 13rd and 14th of Feb.

Time: 10AM to 3PM

Place : Miyajima island pier

Just come join the Festival. It's pretty common fes in Hiroshima for this season!!

We went to Toukasan-Festival!!

Hello!!! This is Sachi as Backpackers miyajima Staff!!

On 6th of June, We went to Toukasan-Festival!!!!!!

We had really enjoyed☆

Our guests said, Yukata is very Comfortable, but "geta"(thonged wooden sandals) is very hard.....But this tour is very good experience for me!!!!

I was very glad....☆

Thank you for everyone who is helping for me.

Now, We are planning many interesting tour and event!
